David LaChapelle: AMOR, a large-scale retrospective of one of the world's most influential artists, on view at the Palacio de Minería May 02 - July 31, 2024.

AMOR spans four decades of LaChapelle's career and offers a comprehensive view of his artistic evolution and impact on contemporary culture. Featuring previously unpublished works and iconic highlights from the artist's career, the exhibition includes more than 90 works, created through various media.

Highlights of the exhibition include the Via Crucis (2023) , a new series that breathes new life into an ancient spiritual tradition. In Spree (2019-2020), inspired by accounts of Shakelton's Trans-Antarctic Expedition, a colossal megacruise ship is frozen in time.

Also noteworthy are new works based on Georgia O'Keeffe's Hawaiian paintings, as well as a special gallery dedicated to LaChapelle's early archives.

The Exhibition has been organized by 212 PRODUCTIONS® in collaboration with the Mining Palace of the Faculty of Engineering, UNAM.
